John’s Bio

John brings 28 years of progressive business experience to his clients as a CPA, corporate executive, business owner and independent consultant. Having worked in many industries, he has much to offer those who face the varied challenges inherent in today's fast-paced world. His approach is to provide proactive business and management planning for better organizational health.

His career began in the tax department of Peat Marwick where he worked with a broad range of industries in tax and tax consultation. After his time in public accounting, John transitioned to a role in corporate finance for a large multi-company group where he manage the accounting for a division with revenues in excess of $150 million where he performed extensive financial accounting, budgetary cost control, and cost accounting functions. He also initiated a number of programs designed to enhance operations, profitability and efficiency. Additionally, he was immersed in extensive work in mergers & acquisitions, acquisition forecasting and post-merger work team collaboration across all operational lines. From this most formative time in his career, John made the decision to take his experience to a broader market by founding a private accounting and financial consulting firm. Since opening his firm, John added years of experience to his ledger as he worked with his client's needs providing all aspects of income tax planning and preparation, business development, business succession planning, profit enhancement, human resource planning and all manners of operational planning.

John's approach with his clients is providing value added services that are tailored to his client's needs. With unrelenting pursuit for providing the maximum in value for clients that he considers part of his family, John digs deep in penetrating the most effective strategies for the success of his clients. John has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a master's degree in organizational development, which he uses to leverage the best that his client organizations and people have to offer for maximum results.

All of John's efforts are supported by cash forecasting and business planning that incorporate the strategies of his clients, while continually scanning the horizon to assess the effects of risks and opportunities for long-term strategic success. John is a facilitator and strategist who relishes the role of coming alongside the business leader and entrepreneur in order to make their lives more productive and fruitful as they pursue the visions that are part of their nature.
